    The Galaxy Bar is the brainchild of Greek-South African restaurateur, Natasha Sideris. Renowned for her hugely popular tashas restaurants across South Africa and the UAE, and Avli, Flamingo Room and Bingalo34 in the UAE, her high standards and meticulous attention to detail produce consistently great food, stunning spaces and impeccable but approachable service. Her ability to seamlessly weave these essential components together has secured the enduring appeal of her restaurants 18 years on.

  • KRYSTIAN HORDEJUK  - Galaxy Bar Team

    KRYSTIAN HORDEJUK

    Beverage Director, Tashas Group

    Krystian joined Tashas Group in to manage the bar at their first concept restaurant, Flamingo Room by tashas, at Jumeirah Al Naseem in Dubai. Today he is not only the custodian of the Galaxy Bar but is also Beverage Manager for the group, overseeing the beverage offering across eight locations. He is a passionate cigar aficionado and has authored a guidebook, The Cigar Diary (2020).

  • MIKLOS BIRO

    General Manager, Galaxy Bar

    Miklos, originally from Hungary, has been in Dubai for over twelve years. He began his career in London as a bartender at Maze by Gordon Ramsey and then moved to L’Atelier Joel Robuchon to be Head Bartender. When arriving in Dubai, he worked with La Petite Maison again as a Head Bartender and climbed the ladder quickly, working in various managerial positions at Gaia Monte Carlo, Gaia and NYX Dubai, Hutong Dubai and Raffles the Palm. He believes in navigating with a strong moral compass and brings passion, empathy and resilience to leading his team. And, he is a self-proclaimed petrolhead!

    Coralie, known as “Coco”, began her journey in Bordeaux, France, working as a waitress in Le Grand Hotel. With over 10 years of experience and an educational background in hospitality, the trilingual bartender who learned English whilst backpacking across Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, is a vital part of the Galaxy Bar team, bringing her passion and multicultural bartending flair to the DIFC every night. She is a rising star in the Dubai bar industry with her passion, creativity, and commitment to elevate the craft of mixology.

    Oliver has over 31 years of experience in the hospitality industry, 10 years of which have been with the Tashas Group. As the Operations Manager, he is committed to forging strong relationships that ensure the absolute best experience for our guests as well as encouraging team members to learn, grow and thrive.
